BT Yahoo (residential broadband services) has recently upgraded
their service and website to include anti spamware amongst other
things. This change has also introduced intermittent problems with
sending emails from a 3rd party email service, such as your Teckna
hosted email, via a desktop email client such as Outlook or Outlook
To overcome the problems, please follow these steps:
Log in to your BT Yahoo account.
Click 'Mail' (halfway down left margin)
Click 'Options' (top right)
Click 'Mail Accounts' (righthand column under management)
Click Add and follow instructions. The receiving mail bit can
be skipped as coming via Teckna, a verification mail will check
ownership of the Teckna address and an account activation code will be
sent, copy and paste into the box in BT Yahoo and all should be OK.
